Diversity Festival at the Vodafone Event Center

I had the opportunity to photograph the Diversity festival at the Vodafone Event Centre.

This beautiful and colourful event gathers about 400 children from schools around Auckland. They get the chance to train all year long with amazing teachers and music industry professionals, to perform amazing chorals at the end of August.

They sang and performed beautiful dances from varied cultures: Samoan, Maori, Indian, Chinese and many more. A few children had the opportunity to express their talent and gave the crowd amazing solos. What a great event to document!

I captured only intimate shots and close ups for this event, which was an interesting experience for me as a photographer. Let me know what you think!

For Charlotte’s first year old birthday the family flew to Fiji to celebrate with a holidays at the Sofitel in Denarau Fiji. It was a three generations birthday since the father and grand father also had their birthday the same month. They had three beautiful cakes and the Fijian team sang for them. The clouds and rain didn’t stop anyone from being happy and merry! It will stay for ever a special day to be remembered.

It was a beautiful heart opener ceremony accompanied by high quality music, singing and where everyone was invited to dance.
